East of England Practice Based Commissioning Awards

Teresa Simms was recently invited to attend the East of England Practice Based Commissioning Network Meeting in Suffolk. South Fenland Locality Practice Based Commissioning Consortia Group in conjunction with Excell Ultrasound Limited were announced the winners of the PBC Network award for Innovation 2010 ‘Improving Patient Care’ Category.

This award highlights the emphasis the Excell team put on the ‘patient experience’ ensuring that patients are seen promptly and in a convenient location for them. We endeavour to provide patients with comprehensive information prior to their scan, and aim to make their scan appointment as stress free as possible.

Brenda will work closely along side our office manager, Teresa Brandon, and they are both available to answer any of your queries.

Patients have advised us that they are having difficulty finding the Waterhouse Business Centre in Chelmsford. We listen to our client feedback and have devised some new directions.

Waterhouse Business Centre, 2 Cromar Way, Chelmsford:

The Waterhouse Business Centre is located on Cromar Way, which is off the A138 Waterhouse Lane. Once you have turned into Cromar way follow the road until you pass Fed Ex on your left.

Take the next turning on the right into the Waterhouse Business Centre car park. Please report to reception.

Community Based DVT Service

From 1st April 2010 Excell Ultrasound in partnership with the borderline practices in Peterborough:

Yaxley,
Whittlesey,
Stanground,
Doodington

We will be providing a community based DVT service.

Any patient with a suspected DVT will be managed locally without the need for a visit to hospital.

New Locations for 2010

Excell Ultrasound is pleased to anounce 2 new scanning locations from January 2010.

Alternate Tuesday afternoons we will be at the Pump House Surgey, Nonancourt way, Earls Colne ,Essex CO6 2SW.
Alternate Thurday afternoons we will be athe the Wansford Surgery, Yarwell Road, Wansford, Peterborough PE8 6PL.
