Excell Ultrasound Limited was established in November 2006 by four Ultrasonographers, who at the time worked within the NHS. Their idea was to take general ultrasound scanning to GPs and their patients.

The Company mission statement is:

The four Ultrasonographers are all Directors of the company with their own distinct roles.

Working with the Local Community:

The Company works closely with General Practitioners and Primary Care Trusts to provide a high quality, efficient service within local communities, which can be tailored to your needs. Referral pathways have been established and robust Quality Assurance and Audit Procedures put in place to enable us to continuously review our services, ensuring we maintain high standards of care.

Examinations:

We provide a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations and offer services for private patients as well as NHS patients.

The company is able to provide a quality, customer focussed service which is competitively priced.

Service:

We provide a fast, efficient service, within the local community, providing easy access for patients and issuing rapid reports. We have a comprehensive quality assurance program in place including peer review, audit and machine checks and maintenance.

We currently provide a service to NHS patients in the Fendland area of Cambridgeshire, Ely and Mid Essex

We have our own clinic in Peterborough where we offer a private patient screening service.
